I started writing in the seventh grade at the age of 14 upon discovering a creative talent for writing in English class. I prefer to go by my pen-name (Joel Howlyn) as it's easier for readers to remember. More recently, I have been particularly interested in working on music, photography, and journalistic pieces in general. I have many sample works in my "Works" page here, and I occasionally write on my blog here as a past time (not necessarily as professional works although a fair amount could be considered such). Additionally, any drawings or pictures you see here (aside from page backgrounds) are handmade. All works here are made by me (visuals included).
