A Brief Introduction (re-upload from April 3rd, 2018)

Hello world,

    You might not have heard of me yet but I'm what many call a "writer". I put "writer" in quotations because well, writers write. Me? I consider myself a "Budding wordsmith" (credit given where credit is due, thank you Californication for introducing me to the said term). I write as much as I can, for me it's more or less my drug. Writing's simply something I do to keep myself from shoving my hand through the wall instead of running up it (kinda like Spiderman, but if I could do that I wouldn't be in college trying to get a career I can feed myself with). In case you haven't noticed already, I have a tendency to make more than enough references (ranging from classic rock songs to movies) so if that's something that you have as a pet-peeve, we most likely aren't compatible so there's the back button in the upper left hand corner of your screen. 

    Now that that's outta the way, allow me to introduce myself to anyone who decided to brave my blog's content. My name is Joel Howlyn (I've given myself a last name Pen-name for reasons of my privacy and your convenience), I started writing in the seventh grade when I discovered my knack for writing in English class. This was where I wrote my first poem, which was lost to a bottomless drawer somewhere. Since then, I've found myself to be significantly addicted to writing anything. A haiku, short story, or even a full novel. It doesn't matter. If it's mine, I'll spend days at a time writing the thing. I've mostly written and published my work to a little cite called "Wattpad" under the username of WanderingSeven (I happen to be a Wanderer, now you know where the blog get's it's name from. You're welcome). Although for any of the families or kiddo's out there, my content is not usually family friendly. Parental supervision is advised. Aside from the writing, I'm currently trying to make my way through school and just get on my feet as an adult. Yes, I wrote adult. I'm currently 18 as I write this very introduction.

    My educational situation is complicated but nearing it's end. I've found trouble, drama, and trauma, or whatever you prefer to call it. It has always had it's ways of finding me which means that by now, plenty has already happened. I'll be honest, I have many doubts I'll write much here as I rarely have the time to give man-birth to any sort of creative words to paper now a days while I'm still in school,  but I've been told many times over I should start a blog. Whatever that means today. So, here it is! The Wanderer's blog. I plan to write my thoughts and possibly occurrences here. One last warning: I've never written a blog before, so a lot may change as I continue writing this blog. Maybe even this introduction. If you're still here and I haven't scared ya off yet, then, let's get to it!
